" He will rise at a time when chaos will be prevailing in the world. Various countries will be engaged in the night attacks on each other. Neither the elders will be having mercy on the younger , nor will the strong be showing kindness to the weak. "* The world will groan under the yoke of tyranny
* Wisdom will begin to flicker
* Good deeds will be few
* Evil deeds will be endless and innumerable
* Murder and pillage will be rampant
* False guides will mislead the multitudes
* Posts will be many but practical teachers few
* To listen or recite the Holy Quran will be most deprecated
* The mosques will be decorated profusely but the urge towards adoration will be absent
* Oppression and injustice will be rife.........
Imam Muhammad Baqir A.S has said :
" The Mahdi will rise at a time of great anxiety , when people will be deeply plunged into crises , disturbances , disasters and diseases and when wild massacres , violent dissensions and religious discord will be the order of the day. At that time people will be feeling distressed and dejected and will be at daggers drawn with each other. They will be wishing themselves dead day and night. He will appear at a moment of utter want of hope. "
* Vice and corruption will rule the roost
* Men will be encouraged to act wickedly rather than being restrained from wickedness
* Reform will be be prevented by force
* Men will approach men with lust
* Women will satisfy their desires with women
* The rich will become godless
* The devout will become sinful
* The leaders of opinion will be corrupt and overbearing
* The land will crumble and sink thrice; in the East , the West and the Arabian Penisula
* Suffering humanity will cry out in despair.........
Imam Muhammad Baqir A.S has said :
" He will rise to establish justice at a time when the world will be full of injustice and tyranny. "
* Men will imitate women
* Women will imitate men
* Women will ride astride on saddles
* False witnesses will be accepted and true witnesses rejected
* Bloodshed will be taken lightly
* The value of humanlife will be no higher than that of a flea or a gnat
* Usury will be considered lawful
* The wicked will be respected for their capacity to do mischief
* The virtuous will be despised for their faith in God ...............
Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq A.S has said :
" It is true that the righteous always lead a hard life. But the end of their hardship is not far off. "
Hazrat Ameer-ul-Momeneen A.S has said :
" Imam-e-Qayam will rise when the world will turn blind and the sky will look reddish. The heaven will actually cry tears of blood when the people on earth will reach the zenith of bad manners such as their parents will call upon their children but they will not listen to their parents and instead despise them. "
